As many of you will be aware your Council has asked the P.P & P sub-committee to arrange social weekends, around the country, one each year, between: the 5 yearly week long activities. This to allow all members the chance to meet' up without long distances to travel. It was decided this first year to 'latch onto' the Sandringham Show and Sponsored Ride & Drive weekend.
The Saturday Show is for Reg Fell Ponies, and Mixed 'Fell Friends' (all- other breeds) in separate classes. Mrs. Sarah Prior Parry has kindly agreed to judge this year. Schedules & entry forms can be downloaded from Midlands East Area Support Group's page on the FPS website or send a SAE to Mrs. Lisa Dunger, 41 Church Cottages, Wolferton, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, PE31 6HE. Some stable accommodation may be available via Lisa, phone 01485 541097. Usual FPS Show Rules and Regulations apply.
The Sunday sponsored ride and drive supports the Sandringham and West Newton
Churches. Mrs. Holt invites all Fell People to join her - likewise we invite her
followers to join us as 'Fell Friends'. It is a -good opportunity to visit the
estate in the less public areas. Again details can be down loaded from the FPS
website or a SAE to Mrs. Ann Holt, Meadow View, Appleton Farm, Appleton, Kings
Lynn, Norfolk, PE31 6BB.
There will be a Saturday evening Supper and Social with a Guest Speaker arranged
by the P.P.&P committee full details and directions will be on the website
